Akinon Resort has a large heated indoor pool that can be used during the winter months or when it’s too cold to use to swim outside.
It is 12.5 meters long and measure an impressive 2 meters at the deepest, allowing it to be used for different types of water gymnastics. The pool area also features a seating area as well as an infrared sauna.
The outdoor pool at Akinon Resort is open all year long and is heated by the sun. It’s a saltwater pool and features a spacious area where guests can sunbathe, relax or have a snack or something to drink when the pool bar is open. The pool area is also an ideal location for a barbecue or a welcome drink as part of an event.
By the lookout point in the Akinon Resort Park guests are able to play a game of boccia at our double boccia court while enjoying a spectacular view of the local area and sea. The boccia court area also feature multiple seating areas in quiet and peaceful surroundings.

The park offers multiple ponds, seating areas and a spectacular lookout point with a beautiful view of the local area. A stroll in the park is ideal whether you want to collect your thoughts, meditate or play some boccia.
Akinon Resort’s multipurpose ball court can be used free of charge by all guests.
On the court it’s possible to play a wide range of different sports like basketball, badminton, volleyball and futsal. It can also be used for group workouts.

Terra Mitica is a large amusement park just 10 minutes by car from Akinon Resort. It offers a wide variety of rides as well as educational tours. Fun for children and adults of all ages!
Terra Natura is just next to Terra Mitica and is a new-generation wildlife park where you can discover the zooimmersion experience – a new concept in habitat design that will enable you to come into contact with the animals as if there were no barriers between you – at least, no visible ones! You can see more than 1,500 animals from 200 different species.
Terra Natura also has a waterpark, however this requires a separate entry ticket.
MundorMar is just next to Aqualandia and here you can experience dolphins, seals, reptiles and birds to mention a few. Definitively a place worth visiting!
Aqualandia is one of the world’s largest waterparks and cover an area of 150,000 square meters with 50,000 square meters’ free parking. It also has abundant gardens with plants that are the typical of the zone.
The park has great rides, which are classified according to the intensity of each one, to make sure that all visitors have an unforgettable day out!
Finestrat Karting offers a great 1 km long outdoor asphalt track that is 10 meters wide. With a beautiful mountain view in the background you can race with your friends of family members and it’s just a 15-minute drive from Akinon Resort!
If you like spending your vacation on or in the water, the Costa Banca coast is the perfect spot! The area offers all types of water sports like jetski, sailing, fishing, kayaking and scuba diving.
If you are adventurous and like exploring, you have to try out a safari or tour! You can either go for a safari or moonlight safari and a mountain or segway tour. Or maybe go horseback riding – the options are many.
Albir, Benidorm, Calpe & Villajoyosa all have beautiful beaches that are worth a visit!
The local area has several mountains that offer beautiful scenery for a morning or afternoon hike! We can also offer guides hikes for groups.
The Costa Blanca coast is also one of the best locations for cycling during the winter season and attracts both professionals and amateurs. We can assist in renting a bicycle if you are not bringing your own.

The local area offers a several shopping options, from small and artistic shops in the old town of Altea to individual stores in Benidorm, Albir and Altea and the shopping center La Marina.

Algar Waterfalls is a beautiful waterfall oasis approximately 15 km from Akinon Resort. It’s a natural area with a high degree of conservation of the ecological richness and also tourist services and environmental education. This area was declared a Wetland protected by the Valencian Government.
Guadalest is a small town in a mountainous part of Marina Baixa. It covers an area of 16 km2, has a population of around 200 inhabitants and is approximately 25 kilometers inland from Akinon Resort.
Guadalest offers spectacular views, small shops and restaurants and a great history. Not to be missed during your stay!
